Stephen Brown
As the Executive Director of Godfellas, Stephen is a dynamic leader with a rich background that spans both the corporate and nonprofit worlds.
With over 15 years of experience as a Pastor and a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary, Stephen has served in leadership roles at respected churches such as Newsong in Orange County, Ecclesia in Houston, and Bel-Air Presbyterian in Los Angeles. Stephen’s pastoral work has been defined by a commitment to community building and advocacy for those on the margins.
In addition to his pastoral career, Stephen has a robust corporate background, having worked with teams at Microsoft. This experience in the corporate world has equipped him with a keen understanding of the importance of teamwork, leadership, and effective communication. This dual expertise allows Stephen to guide the nonprofit with both heart and strategy, ensuring that Godfellas not only thrives but also makes a meaningful impact.
Stephen also currently serves as a board member with El Pozo De Vida, a globally recognized nonprofit in Mexico City dedicated to combating human trafficking and supporting survivors.
Parkson Shih
Parkson is the Program Director at Godfellas. With a deep understanding of people and a passion for technology and entrepreneurship, Parkson is committed to creating opportunities for underserved communities, particularly focusing on children who lack access to mentorship and resources.
As the Program Director, Parkson plays a pivotal role in the strategic and operational success of Godfellas. He is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of programs that align with the organization’s mission to inspire hope and foster growth in underserved communities. This includes identifying key areas of need, developing initiatives that address those gaps, and ensuring that all programs are effectively managed and executed.
Leveraging his corporate background and entrepreneurial experience, including the successful launch of several restaurants, Parkson brings a strong skill set in strategic planning, financial management, and vision execution to the role. He works to secure funding, build partnerships, and expand the reach of the charity’s programs, all while maintaining a focus on empowering the next generation to achieve their full potential.
Yvonne Lu
With over 15 years of experience in healthcare and a seasoned career as an actress, Yvonne brings a unique blend of compassion, professionalism, and creative vision to her role. Her expertise in communications and creative direction allows her to lead with both heart and strategy.
From managing public relations and media outreach to developing innovative marketing campaigns and fundraising events, Yvonne ensures that every message and initiative aligns with Godfella’s mission to uplift underserved communities.
Driven by a passion to amplify the voices of the unheard, especially women and children, she is dedicated to keeping Godfellas focused on spotlighting frequently overlooked global issues, advocating for the most vulnerable among us, and fostering lasting change. For Yvonne, this work is more than a career—it’s a calling.
